PSA pilots: Dayton AME
I'm a pilot (NOT a PSA guy) who lives in the general Dayton area and I'm looking for a good AME. I've been using a doctor where I was based for years in VA but he just retired and besides I'm not based there anymore, so I'm in the market for someone who is close to home. Any suggestions? Last year I went to an AME in Vandalia whom I found on an online listing (through AOPA I think) and although she was very nice she gave me the longest most in depth physical I've ever had (5 different eye tests!) and it was clear that she didn't do many FAA medicals at all. I passed but needless to say I would rather go to someone a little "friendlier" and who understand the airline industry and the who speaks airplanes. Any suggestions? Thanks.
P.S. I've been commuting on your flights a lot out of DAY, you're always very welcoming, professional and make it easy. Keep up the good work!

He is in Germantown (west of Dayton, maybe 25 minutes from airport.)
He is an aviation buff and very nice person.
Professional and reasonable prices.
The first FAA physical that he gave was a little more thorough than subsequent ones.
I would say they are definitely pilot friendly.
He also has an office in Clermont County (Batavia) near Sporty's.
