The most common rationale from these individuals was that they did not want someone like HIM representing them.

Pretty soon I ran out of fingers and put two and two together, maybe if Seggy wasn't out there representing our cause we would have those 10+ votes and got it through the first time while being one year closer to a contract.

To think that an individual like him is now the MEC Chair at Colgan makes me glad that I am no longer there and sad for my friends who are still there. It's easy to win by default I guess.

I said it before and I'll say it again the pilots of Colgan Air deserve ALOT better. If the Pilots at Colgan want an industry-leading contract the first step would be to find some new leadership.

Well, since you used to work here, I can't discredit your point of view completely, but I will say that since we've voted ALPA in we have already made large strides in making this a better place to work. I'm based in IAD, so I talk to the ALPA reps a lot, and we've got a pretty good group of people working with our management.

You off at greener pastures now I guess?

Since this thread has no longer gone down the path of original intention and it breaks the unofficial 60/40 rule (60 percent of it is pointless insults and flamebait while 40 is pertinent) its getting closed.

The key information which was the original point of this thread is post number one and those that care can still access this thread and take a look.
