All Cohen(the RAA douchbag) has to do now is take those 1100+ applications in front of congress and say: "Hey look! The pay is just fine!" Pretty sad actually.

That excuse is totally weak when you are talking about a regional/commuter airline.

Get a job at starbucks if you need to feed your family, better hourly rate anyway.

Have you tried to get a job at Starbucks or Wal-Mart lately? It is not going to happen? There are no jobs. In my opinion the "go get a regular job" is a little bit harder then those with jobs think.

Like I said... I have a very dirty toilet that needs some TLC. I promise, it pays better than old Chuck and you dont need to spend a life's savings to learn how to use a plunger. Any "hungry family" takers????

I dont think so... sadly!

Default TO answer the originial question...

Colgan is looking for higher time applicants at this time I believe some where to the tune of around 2500 hours. My buddy was called to interview with them and had to decline due to a gulfstream captain position that he was selected for. Hope this answers your question pm for any other questions since like the previous colgan thread this is just turning into a sliding board.

Got a reply the same day I sent my stuff in. Was very brief inquiry about my background. Since then... zip. I guess that's better than nothing.

Once again an eGoJetter attempting to talk negatively about any other regional. Look in the mirror pal...what you've signed up for is absolutely disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourself!

They are really looking for people that will accept low wages. To get an interview? Well, I imagine it is like playing the lottery....

BTW, I'm not bashing Colgan here, I'm talking about all the regionals...
WHY NOT...I would bash away... colgan s*cks hardcore! The planes break non-stop, who knows what their united "D -/+ 0" promoter scores are there not even factored next to mesa or Tstates they are that bad. You'll be stuck in Dulles on a SAAB flying a plane you wish you had never even gotten the useless type in. Oh you thought you were going Q400 did you uummm think again...? Get in line for the shiney one and at Shaws F/O pay. After all that press and all that talk? How do you even tell your friends and family? Ooohhh thats right United Express (Saab 340) i forgot.... thats what you'll say.
You will be in Dulles right next to chuck living and commuting on dulles shuttle buses hating every moment of your natural life (except for the 25 minutes while you're on final.)Spending exhorbitant amounts of money to live in Northern Virginia for Colgan on Reserve most likely. You will begin to hate Dulles, NoVa, United Ops/Air wisconsin ops and probably your own ops...and even though you look up now at the sky with hope you will soon regret the move. Its sad that Chuck COLGAN the man with his name plastered on a plane that slammed into earth and erupted into a fireball on a cold new york night; killing dreamers and movers and shakers. It is sad that he and his whole manassas crap, "can pick and choose?" I would never apologize for that company or any other UAX carrier for that matter... okay maybe skywest they don't bother me so much.

-hope you like west viriginia
