I am sure that *some* of the Express flying will stay at LGA to connect people to the BOS/DCA shuttles. So far it is only a "reduction" in express flying.

From what I have heard around the company Daddy Pinnacle wants us to go to an entire Hub and Spoke system with the Hubs being: IAH, IAD, EWR, LGA, BOS. So, I don't see our LGA base closing anytime soon. We still have routes out of there that I see us flying for a long time. Just my .02

...from the sound of it, no more T props at LGA at all. I'd be surprised if any 50 seat RJ's even make it.

I'm pretty sure the SAAB flying will be ending in LGA. Maybe everything will move up to Albany.

Phuz 08-14-2009 11:31 AM

credible source at pdt said today no more colgan saabs at airways.

According to management at recurrent this week, we will not be loosing any SAABs in 2010. After that who knows? Speculation is that we will still be doing some LGA flying after the Piedmont pull-out, but I wouldn't be too surprised to see all 50 seaters or less being banned from LGA in the near-term.
