Rumor I heard is:

NMB was minutes from releasing Pinnacle, but WG stepped in and told the NMB not to because we were very close on a deal. This was done without anyone else's knowledge.

Not sure if there is any truth to this though.

I'm sure Mr. Higney has more info of this

why hasn't that rumor surfaced on airlinkpilots boards? 9e isn't getting released unless unemployment numbers decline rather that stay on the rise. great rumor though. SE, i've seen you recently joined up, any truth to this?

No matter if the TA passes, I think it's become very evident that new blood is needed in the union.

Would this be the NMB's way of saying that in the current climate no matter how much your job sucks you should keep it and be happy....geez

in one word, yes. they have to report to congress and explain how and what led up to them releasing us and with the current unemployment numbers where they are, the NMB is not going to put their arse's on the line and release us.

They just released some other carrier... Like 1300 more people on umemployment matters. That will affect the rate by .00001%.

Can anyone post the details or at least a summary of the changes in the TA?

the MEC still has to vote on it. Once they vote on it, if it passes, they it along with the summary will be released.

From what I've heard it will have a hard time passing at the MEC level.
