AWAC Contract 2011 pilot survey open
Just received an email to take this survey regarding our contract negotiations coming up. If you're with Air Whiskey and haven't done this yet, I would suggest doing it now, and hopefully we can make some changes for the better.
Anyway, just in case you didn't receive the email from ALPA, here's the link:

your ID is your 7 digit ALPA number
P/W: ARW

Don't be so close-minded about PBS that you're unwilling to learn about it.
I can't speak for the last 2 or so years, but when I was there the biggest issue with the current CBA was the Scheduling section, because unforseen loopholes and loose language regarding paring & line construction lead to a massive degradation in pilot QOL.
PBS can be brought to AWAC to the benefit of both management AND the pilot group, in a way that preserves vacation trip touching...but it would require a complete rewrite of Section 12. During such a re-write, language could (should) be modified such that the Scheduling Committee would have veto power (if not outright control) on paring construction...because as is and has been lines will be crap regardless of how they're constructed if the parings are crap.
In a perfect world the pilot group and ATW would see the massive benefits of interest-based bargaining and get this thing resolved in a timely fashion, but I doubt that'll happen....so fight hard and good luck!
