Unfortunately, most people only pay attention to the flames, not the facts. I'm glad at least you have been following the reality, and not the tabloid drama.

Under the SWA offer the pilots were guaranteed 10-40% salary increase depending on seniority with two year domicile protection. Not a move to MKE in a month and their flying being done by $80 pilots in jungle jets. Ooops!

Maybe the good Reverend will paint a gift horse on the tail of the DEN based E jets

I'm going to be curious to see how SWA goes about squashing this like a bug.

I wonder if all of those republic guys realize they are in the ring alone, squared off with the 800 pound gorilla.

Please..don't pretend like you have any clue as to why we have our FO payscale top out at $37. Do some research kid. It has to do with the purchase of Shuttle America and preventing a whipsaw when Bedford wanted to create an altereGOJet airline between our certificates. Sound familiar? One of the best moves this pilot group made.

Well that would sound all nice and dandy but what about the possibility of being a SWA furloughee? I hear that doesn't pay much these days....

You *forgot* to mention the firing/furloughing of a majority of their pilots, firing of 90% of the ground jobs and the complete shutdown of a great airline. Don't be so naive son. What good is a raise when you're fired?

190's for 50 seat pay anyone else have a problem with that or is it just me. Not hating but the math sucks. I hope you RAH guys stand up and demand a decent respectable pay rate for the work you do. 37/96 stinks to high heaven when you look at any other 73 pilot in fact if you guys stand for this your getting hosed big time.

So am I being naive or does F9's contract offer no protection?

Why does everybody think that the republic pilots had anything to do with what went down? Pilots are pods that are told where and when to go. Anybody that thinks the SWA deal would have been better is....well...high! As of now the 190 will do BOI and OMA, which is good because the Q400 should not be doing those routes, way too long. I do hope they keep the Q400 though, your not gonna take a 190 into ASE, or into DRO with a 5700 foot runway with 74 people.
