Until Compass says "Compass Rose", Horizon says "Horizon Air", Frontier says "Frontier Flight", and Spirit says "Spirit Wings", and Caribbean says "Caribbean Airlines"....."Eagle Flight" will be "Eagle". Because those are the official ARTCC callsigns for those airlines and they dont say them verbatim.
We get in trouble for not saying Eagle Flight. Garbage...!

Rode the Delta Shuttle a few weeks back.... turned out it was Shuttle America or some other RAH creation.... never once did I hear anything except "welcome aboard the Delta Shuttle"... heck, even Colgan used to include at the end "....operated by Colgan Air." By the way, after having ridden in the back of that E170, I agree, it is NOT a regional aircraft.

Hey, for a regional, at least your call sign matches the paint on the plane... You're probably one of the only regionals flying in their own colors not outright pretending to be somebody else....

Speaking of callsigns, ours at Chautauqua is Chautauqua. Its fun to say! Try it! (You might be one of these days anyways

Of all of those airlines you just mentioned "Eagle Flight" is the only one that if you leave off the second word you get a call-sign for another company... that being the Secret Service. And that's why ATC occasionally gets on you for saying Eagle when you are "Eagle Flight". That's the word from ATC.
