And I haven't been able to find a Bombardier press release saying that Q200/300 production actually has ceased, although there were some reports from 2008 that said production would cease in May 2009. :confused:

I guess the better question would be, how big of an order would it take to fire up the production line for the Q200 and Q300? I think it's a bit like the XR for Embraer, theoretically they are still for sale, but I wonder how many birds would have to be ordered for them to fire up the old production line?

BTW, how did you get a copy of the B&CA Handbook? Do you have a subscription? Just curious, it sounds like good stuff.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you'll ACTUALLY know the answer to this.

Are the 145XR and Legacy built on separate lines?

As far as our company goes, I though that Embraer has made it clear that if our management wanted to exercise the 100 options we had for XR's, Embraer would rather just convert them to another currently produced type than spool up the XR line again.
