I agree. One of the biggest things I've learned is not to be in a hurry to "grow up". I'm even going to be taking an extra semester to finish my weather degree, and I'm not worried about falling behind on anything. I'm 21 now, and have realized that by continually being obsessed with the future, you forget to enjoy the present.

I have to admit, being an instructor has been the best flying duty I've been assigned to, hands down. You probably know this saying, but I've modified it for instructors: "Flying is hours of sheer boredom punctuated by moments of sheer terror. Here at Altus Air Force Base (place your school here), we've removed the boredom!"
Whatever you decide, remember that you won't get a chance to go back and "do over" a bad decision, so make sure you get all the info you can, even if it's from some over-the-hill, old pilot anonymous internet message-board contributor!

Also, not to burst your bubble bud, but I don't know of many 121 carriers that will hire you until you are the age of 21. The only one that I know of is Horizon (Age 18) and their mins are 1000/100 last time I checked...
Whatever happens, try to find the good in everything you do. Don't focus on the negative. You will get your shot sooner or later. HAVE FUN while you're at it too
