Has anyone heard of this?
Regarding me not being able to make the dates for a Colgan interview. Has anyone herad of them letting a candidate interview on a different date for the same class? Say earlier or later?

Most employers will do this assuming you have a work conflict or perhaps your own wedding to attend.
Airlines tend to do batch-style interviews, so they need to have all the people and resources available. This means that they will usually allow you to come to a later scheduled interview, but they won't usually do a special one just for you at your convenience. Mom and Pop might do that though.

I was called a few days ago by Colgan and was asked to come out to interview three days later. I had to say no because of some conflicts with work and the short notice. Do they usually call back for another interview or will they pretty much throw my resume away? I want to interview so I hope I didn't blow my chance because I wasn't flexible on such short notice.

I would suspect that you wouldn't really want to work for someone who would give you three days notice for an interview and then be inflexible about it...
