I will if I'm senior enough to hold a line, but at 9 years, I doubt I will be. That's how senior I expect it to go.

SH issued a memo yesterday that now he expects to open an ORD base in May.

Congrats guys........welcome to Orchard.

BTW, 15 a/c (includes spare) and 2 bases(ORD, IAD)? Those will be small domiciles.

I had a question.. if we need reserve staffing at those two bases and such, do you all think ASA will be understaffed? Just curious!

John,
are they still planning on sending 25-35 crews to IAD in addition to ORD, or is the next displacement just going to happen because the ORD base is opening? I am confused about this.

Unless they announce more a/c for United, I don't think they will displace 25-30 to IAD in addition to ORD. They sent out something a while ago that said they wanted to eventually staff at 4.5ish/plane. We will have I believe 13 + spare so that makes 65ish pilots on each side. They moved 33 f/o's to IAD, so I can't imagine that they'd move another 30 to IAD plus staff ORD.
