ASA Furloughs/Skywest Hiring!?!
So I know this was brought this up a few times on other message boards, but I just wanted to get everyone's thoughts and maybe some speculation on Skywest talking about hiring applicants from a pool with ASA having over 100 pilots on the street..

kinda along the same lines...Mesaba furloughing, Compass Hiring, Comair recalling...all owned by Daddy D

Don't even talk to me about Comair recalling. If anything they just canceled some furloughs. When you have Comair FOs on the street with more seniority then Mesaba captains you just can't make that comparison.

The Comair thing is crazy, but I think the ASA SKW thing a bit different.

lol ignorance is bliss:
Who is SkyWest, Inc.?
SkyWest, Inc. is the holding company that wholly owns all SkyWest subsidiaries. Years ago, SkyWest, Inc. owned SkyWest Airlines, Scenic Airlines and an Avis car rental company. With the purchase of ASA in 2005, SkyWest, Inc. took a more active and important role as the owner of both companies. The publicly traded stock is SkyWest, Inc. stock and current SkyWest, Inc. shareholders will now be owners of both SkyWest Airlines and ASA. Operations will remain separate. Separate books are kept for each company, however, the financial public releases and SEC filings will be consolidated reports from the two airlines.
LoL GoJets hired off the street and offered trans states furloughs the same position. Be ignorant bro
