Trying to get an idea of which if any regionals are still receiving a/c orders and what the upgrade times are. Seems that the day of quick upgrades is over. So:

trying to chase upgrade time is like like chasing the vsi
(that was the stupidest cliche ever but had to use it)
just cause something has a 2 year upgrade time now, probably means there expanding so as soon as all the pilot seats are filled ,which usually takes less than 2 years, theyll stop growing
just go to a "good" regional. If people stop going to these really ****ty quick upgrade time regionals, theyll be forced to increase wages and make better work rules in order to attract pilots, and that makes it better for us all!

Im not trying to chase the upgrade persay, but trying to gauge how this regional stuff is going to pan out in the end. I could have gone to Mesa and tried the street capt -8 thing, but I didnt feel that was what I wanted in a job.
