Fatal Flying on Airlines No Accident in Pilot Complaints to FAA |
Wow...
Once is happenstance, twice may be coincidence. But three times??? That's enemy action. |
The agency is full little napoleans who have nothing better to do.
|
Agency? FAA?
Do you think they are picking on GIA because of the recent publicity related to colgan? |
Coincidence? No.
|
Anyone can make sensational headlines too..What if they printed the following article? Would you be insulted?
Did First Officer of doomed Colgan flight learn to raise flaps uncommanded during stall recovery at the flight school that gave her a CFI rating? This reporter would like to know how many people they might have taught this "NEW" procedure to. How many did they in turn teach this to? How many did she teach this to during her time as an instructor? How many are out there flying for the regionals now? Is your family at risk?. How many students did she have in 1200 hours of Dual given to reach ATP mins.....is more of this going to happen when HR3371 goes through and everyone has to teach? Is HR 3371 a double edged sword? Will it create a culture in aviation of the Blind leading the Blind? Should HR3371 require atp mins to teach someone how to safely fly? We know you cant fly safely at an airline at 300 hours. How can you safely teach a new pilot at 300 hours? Shouldn't a new pilots flight instructor have more than the bare minimums of training? Shouldn't the public demand this? Are you ever going to be safe in a plane again, unless the pilot was trained in wartime combat during Vietnam, or has a cool nickname played off of his last name? |
