The 1st class 700 rumor is a absolute fact. They should all be retrofitted by summer. Straight from the horse's mouth. (SH)

It is fact. They will have a total of 66 seats, and are supposed to be completed by May. They begin to go in Feb.

No, it is useful to say "I heard this rumor..." and see if anyone else has heard it. In my experience in this industry, most "facts" began as rumors when someone in management leaks it to someone connected (like me). So don't jump all over someone for fact checking a rumor they heard. IMHO that's what the forums are for.

Man I gotta get back to recurrent and fill up on my BS sessions from SH....seems like there is quite a bit goin on this summer here at ASA :) maybe ?

Hey, I'm on furlough and I still get the latest rumors! Heck, this weekend my mother-in-law called to tell me a captain at her church was in recurrent last week and got the impression from CT that recalls were a strong possibility this spring! :D (I did have to let her down gently on the realities of airlines and pilot gossip.)
