Lynx Feb 5th

On Feb 4th we found out we were losing our jobs...

On Feb 5th we were on time for 100% of our departures...

Way to stay classy and professional... that's how Lynx will be remembered. Good luck everybody!

Good for you guys. Keep it up. You're in most peoples thoughts, and I hope the best for all of you.

Just remember though, sometimes things happen for a reason, and when one door closes another opens. Try to be optimistic about the whole thing, and you might be surprised what happens.

I got laid off from Mesa last month, but something much better rolled around for me 3 weeks later totally unforeseen. You just never know. :)

the entire industry is shrinking - amazing that what is happening here is a mirror image of the whole airline story. consolidation, mergers and bk's. too few jobs and those that are available pay less and less. something like 35% of the industry has disappeared since 9/11. and...it ain't over yet! the glory days are over and yet all we do is assign blame for job theft.

Good for you Tiger. Apparently, we were on the same Jan. 31st cut. I am still waiting for something magically to happen to me but I am being optimistic. Don't miss that messed up reserve game they had us playing at the end for sure.

I wish all Lynx pilots-many of them former Mesa pilots-the best of luck in the future. Leaving one flying job for the next, then losing that job a couple years later really sucks. With any luck, all of you will have the chance to fly the EMB 170/190s in the near future.

Amen to this.

Being consummate professionals isn't going to do anything to keep you off the street or help our profession. Its just putting more money into BB's pockets and lets him call all the shots as most advantageous to you.

Hes announced hes going to hit you guys down hard. Why not beat him to the punch?

Because the Lynx pilots are serving the passengers. Dog bless them. They are like the Captain who goes down with his ship: an honorable and unfortunate position.

Bravo Zulu to the Lynx folks.

I certainly wouldn't wish this on any of my former Lynx friends. I think the last thing any of them want is anything to do with RAH. I for one hope they can move on to other companies that will treat them with the respect they deserve and pay them at the professional rate they exhibit.
