Do they really think they can defend themselves against paying pilots a wage that requires them to get a two bedroom apartment and cram 10-12 people inside? How bad does it look to the public when they watch FRONTLINE and see that their pilots are sleeping in crash-pads that look worse than a tent in Boy Scout Camp. I don't fly for the regionals but I have friends that do and its shocking to hear the stories they have about being fatigued and running on 3-4 hours of sleep. Also isn't there some new policy at Colgan that prevents pilots from calling in fatigued? Might be wrong but I thought I heard something about this.
