I commuted into an outstation for three months... here is my insight... it sucks. So my advice would be that unless you are based in IAD or IAH and it is a one leg commute to give some really serious thought into moving into base... it just isn't worth it.

Wouldnt they're be in place of "they are"? When you put it in place of the other option it now says "And do they are jobs for less." That doesnt make sense to me. I probably should have gone to College instead of the Marine Corps and I would know those things.

That is all part of my plan......a few well placed errors and I have managed to change the mood of the thread dramatically....its all smoke and mirrors.
There is a reason APC pays me THIS much.

I actually thought you were trying to say "they are" in your correction... Didn't read PCL's original version that you corrected.
You wrote " Their paid far to much", and Vagabond already corrected your "to" for "too". So, if you just looked at the above, seemed like you were trying to say "they are", not their?... Clear as mud?

So... now that we are having so much grammar fun...
Once you get invited for an interview, how long does it take to get travel arrangements? I was invited to the interviews at LaGuardia almost two weeks ago but I have not received travel arrangements...
I have never been to an airline interview before. I have been in flight school management for six years, and I'm sick of it. I want to fly. Any tips?

I didn't get travel info until 2 days before I flew out, and they positived spaced us out the day of the interview. Probably can't hurt to make a call and ask but be patient, there is a lot going on in the hiring and training departments right now.

Really?? C'mon, if the operational costs of the crew were the same, the Q will always be less then jet on operational expenses of the aircraft itself, continental is gonna chose the Q any day over jet for specific routes just to save money on operating expenses, so maybe you should go to continental mgmt and speak your mind and see what they say

Haha, I know what you're talking about.........some of the grammar around here from 'supposed' professionals is out of control. Makes them look near-retarded. Posts don't need to be perfect; but, a little effort goes a long way.
For all you flamers out there....and there's tons of you......your message is much better received if the receiver doesn't have to decipher what you're talking about due to your sixth grade English. Not talking perfect English, 'cause mine sure isn't.....but WOW, some of the stuff is really awful.
Your ≠ You're
There ≠ Their ≠ They're
To ≠ Too ≠ Two
Then ≠ Than

So does anyone want to talk about Colgan new hire stuff INSTEAD of grammar? For example, is there a final answer about where new hires are going? Is there any choice? The next couple of classes are for Saabs in the northeast, and later classes are for Q in Houston, right?
If given a choice, I would probably like the northeast because the flying seems more interesting at first glance. But since I will probably have to commute, Houston might be easier to get home from.
What do you guys think? Is there any choice?
