The bad thing about the leather jacket is the wait is appx 12 weeks to get them. I ordered mine and wont get it til mid january.... At least ill get a couple weeks use out of it ... I also like the fact that I dont have to pack another jacket/sweatshirt/whatnot for overnights. It seems like a pretty nice jacket, but ive noticed most people either love it or hate it...

I love the leather jacket. Plus I also have a commando sweater for an added layer during bitter cold days. I get compliments all the time.

But I have been told that the Perrone leather jacket is not the only approved one to wear. As somebody mentioned, the ones from Pops can be purchased as well as a $100 one from Amazon. Both are identical to the Perrone one with the exception of some strap in the back.

Also, the current wait time for the Perrone is 8-10 weeks from time of purchase. If you have any intention of wearing it this winter I would purchase it today. Or go for the Pops or Amazon one which has a turn around time of only a few days.

Perrone is up to 12 weeks. They just called me a couple days ago to let met know they are giving their manufacturer holiday vacation (the nerve of these people!!!) which is pushing production back. Either way you better get on it soon!!!

Training is so backed up, expect them to finish IOE 8 months from now.

That's better then furlough which is about to happen when they file Chapter 11 next week.

It does suck, I know this and I'm not even on your equipment. You've got a reputation. Just remember, when you're having a conversation with your FO, they're really thinking, "****, no one gives a ****, I want to strangle you." this is all second hand ofcourse.

Oh, you're bragging about making 110K/yr? Please

its highly unlikely they will go ch11 for at least 6 months, they got a bunch of cash on hand, they lose that if they go ch 11 towards debts, they do not want that.

Why? So they can continue to loose money quarter after quarter until its all gone? Or because they want to give union workers bigger contracts just so they end up screwing creditor and employees when they file? That cash on hands gives them more leverage to emerge from bankruptcy then if they entered with nothing. If they go into BK with nothing they run the risk of full liquidation. You got to have assets and cash or they will not be able to restructure and attract exit financing. No cash or assets, no airline, plain and simple. Plus they can screw the employee’s into lower wages, terminate the pensions, and force all creditors to take a haircut on their notes. BK is a win win for AMR. In 2004 they hired Goldman to studying the airline and they suggested filing then. They said no way the airline will survive under its current model. They were right, we are weeks or months away from AMR walking into a federal court near you.

Works great till you need something, screw up, or try and do something that back fires. You really should lose that attitude fast, esp since more than a few of us know who you are.
