all I know is Eagle is fat well over 100 pilots, on the line now, and has been, with more coming down the pipeline. For a bankrupt company, it is very unclear to me why we havent furloughed, stopped classes/ioe, or offered even short term leaves. We have the entire ATR base in Dallas getting a paid month off in March.

I dont want anyone on the street, I just do not understand the logic going on? You would think they would jump at some kind of leaves? Also the 20 guys seems more like politics to me....

ALPA at Eagle keeps hiding behind new confidentiality agreements (even from their own pilots). It seems clear to me they plan to assist AMR in any way possible. Unlike the DAL pilots, AA pilots are also battling against an extremely willing conspirator (ALPA/Eagle) who seems all too eager to assist AMR in their effort to crush the APA and AA pilots.

They did stop classes/furlough 20 pilots. The reason they did not stop the entire pipeline, as it was explained by NA from the training department, was the sim time had already been purchased. Might as well use it.

This doesn't make sense because those training slots, SIM time can be utilized for displaced pilots, instead AMR has choose to train new hires while part of the DFW ATR base sits at home and gets their class date pushed back for SIM time, that happen last Monday, some guys training was adjusted because of lack of SIM tim so this sounds like BS to me! Now, don't get me wrong I am not complaining about this, the more guys we can keep employed (and below me) the better but the excuse about SIM time being purchased doesn't chive with me specially if they had reserved the slots and wouldn't need the any more they could reject the contract in CH 11. Now if they paid already that's a different story but again those SIM times could still be used for displaced line pilots not new hires.
