Giving advice isn't your forte. I'm sure taking it isn't either. If you never go to a major, then I'm sure someone will erroneously criticize you for it. Your well on your way to "RJ pilot" arrogance. I think you may have a disappointing future Mr. Hoover.

Default Airline Apps

I just got an email saying that AE will review my app in two days. I've worked for Eagle for two years now and haven't touched airline apps since I was hired.

Is there something I'm supposed to do to turn off my app?

I got the same thing a few months ago. I never did anything and didn't hear anything else. I think they review it and see you're a current employee.

Prolly just a blanket dredging run to see if the missed any fish out there. Eagle's pilot net is expected to provide skimpy returns in the future.

There is no difference between an "RJ Captain" and a "Main line Captain", absolutely none. Stop perpetuating the myth. Do the 65 people on my plane have any less importance than the 180 on his plane. If you fly only one person for hire you are EQUALLY responsible for lives. Rant over.

Unfortunately, many of the younger F/O's look down at those who choose to fly for a regional as a career and that is unfortunate. Rick implies exactly that in his misguided post regarding my reply to another (which had NOTHING to do about his regional status per se). He was just as off course regarding implying those who may have flowed thru to a major carrier from a regional are somehow unqualified to be there.

Chalk it up to emotion and the frequent lack of wisdom of youth.
