But it still affects flight attendants? I think we should also be concerned for them. We all need to get to work....

It starts with the flight attendant then spreads to the pilots next. Just wait. Thank you SkyWest.

Then why post it as a statement titled "Cabin Jumpseating discontinued on UAX SkyWest" without even so much as a "?" added to indicate you don't really know?

Take a deep breath, relax, and await factual information.

No need to play this game:

I was just going by what the memo stated and what the station agents understood how to go about it. The memo states it affects pilots that are oal can only sit in the jumpseat otherwise need a zed fare to sit in the back. Do I know how it will be implemented system wide no. But mostly as a heads up to everyone that flies on uax/skw.

Everything you just said is wrong, you are trying to freak out pilots to be upset at SKW for a different agenda. Nothing has changed here for you guys jumpseating on us. If some gate agent tries to limit jumpseaters demand the captain, then demand a supervisor (in a nice way). Lots of misinformation. NO CHANGE TO OFFLINE JUMPSEATERS....

We are just as much at risk as anyone else. The memo does not specify Oal jumpseaters or FA's. It is a blanket change. This has a lot of us upset. And our SAPA group knew nothing of it before it came out. Shows how "open-door" SkyWest really is. This is another example just like our health plans that were scrapped in an email.

How am I trying to freak out pilots? I understand and read the email and saw the orig memo. Either this came from skw or ual or both. It was targeted at fa's but why include pilots if it wasn't suppose to include us. our pres/sapa jumpseat chair seemed to be blindsided about it and confronted chip about it. Yes the capt is the final say but there are some gate agents that won't let u down to talk with them. I agree not all the facts about this are out on this but it's no like I am talking about some rumor or I heard from a friend. It's a memo that is targeted against commuting crew. Is it fair for fa's to get this taken away just on skw? If u think I am spreading fear whatever.....

No. In his first post he blames UAL for the situation. There's nothin' more fun than starting a jumpseat war between the pilot groups.

You see, it would be this mat that you would put on the floor... and would have different conclusions written on it that you could JUMP TO.....That's the worst idea I've ever heard in my life, Tom.
