UND Souix,
Go with the first one that calls. You do not know how long you will be in a hiring pool. No one knows how they pick. If you get your mind set on one, the other will call, and the first will never call.
You can make the decision to chose when they both have called and asked you to come work for them.

I had this same situation two and half years. Comair class and CHQ interview. Needless to say I am now an E145 Captain. Make the best choice for you but if living in NY is your ONLY objective go to comair. CHQ does have LGA but the most junior FO there has about 11 months seniority. And getting LGA is contingent on you getting the 145. Airlines are like picking stocks. If you buy a ****ty airline it has only upward movement to go. If you buy a huge powerful airline, it usually can only go down. CHQ was the 'cheap' stock when i chose it and I have rode it up very high.
