It's funny you say that, having the blended rate because of the Saab at XJ has killed our 76 seat pay for the FO's on the RJ900

So how much pay would you take from the prop driver and give to the CR9?

The better question would be . Why are you trading among the pilots instead of getting it from the company. Pay based on weight and speed. This was the way compensation was negotiated in the past. How much revenue can the pilot produce in each hour of flight.
Management has been successful with the use of a blended rate in getting pilots to reach into each others pockets instead of the companies pockets.

Technology advances quickly so let's scope out the large turboprops too. Don't think that they can be a threat to mainline flying? Think again. We can all learn from the past folks! Let's not repeat our mistakes! None of us are ever too good to fly a tprop....it's all about pay/bennies/QOL....not necessarily in that order. Ultimately, it's about our own self-respect.
