"Pinnacle has obtained 15 more optional delivery slots exclusively for Continental for Q400 deliveries in 2013, subject to the airline’s ability to obtain “commercially reasonable” financing. Pinnacle also still holds options for 15 Q400s for delivery in 2011 that it might market to other major U.S. airlines."

Timing coincidence ??? Is Delta getting rid of turboprobs or just the SAABS ?

Eagle had several of our F/O's chase street captain seats in these aircraft a few years ago...............not sure if they'll survive, though.

Tough news.

Pinnacle CORP has the Q's not Pinnacle Inc. Pinnacle Inc flies for daddy Delta, Pinnacle Corp(colgan) flies for Continental. So yes, Delta is getting rid of turboprops, as pinnacle corp has nothing to do with Delta. Continental is gaining turboprops. It just says Pinnacle Corp might also market Q's to another airline, not necessarily delta...

Nothing, skywest flys them on their own and at pro-rate.

But they still fly them for delta and delta can't say "all jet service" while they are being marketed for delta.

But then there would be no SGU service anymore! SKYW would then be forced to move their corporate headquarters out of there!
