Okay, I've got a stupid question but I'm going to ask it anyway. I believe that you guys are now about five years into your contract negotiations. WHY is any Pinnacle pilot worried a summer meltdown?! They've been jacking you guys around for a really long time! Hell, I'd say celebrate and have your own version of "Summer of Love" except this time it'd be in 2010.

And why are so many of your jets still flying around the taxiways in ATL?

I don't think it's the operational meltdown they are worried about. Most think it's pretty funny....less bonus for mgmt. It will be the constant extensions and junior mannings they are worried about, and 10 day off lines becoming 7 off for reserves, and average days off decreasing across the board. it's not that we are worried that the meltdown will STFD.

As to flying down taxiways in June in ATL.....probably have a deferred APU

Lol, I gotcha. Do you guys have a "fatigue call" provision in your contract? Yeah, anymore I just sit back and laugh when our operation melts down. It's truly sad that it's come to that, but after getting ***-raped for so many years, well..........

Wow! Thank you very much; I had forgotten that I was in high school English class no on an informal message board. Do you have any thing better to do but correct grammar, usage, and spelling?

Yet for the past how many months there have been like 500 hrs of open time which they juniorman/extend lineholders with constantly. It just doesn't make sense, and when someone asked him why not just build lines more efficiently and not extend people with all that open time, he came up with some BS excuse like the open time wouldn't fit into the building of the lines anyway. (and yet starting next month they magically came up with these new efficient lines because now it suits their needs.) That is what Mesa guys have told me as well.. apparently it was pretty bad during MH's reign over there. Why do airlines hire these rejects from other failing airlines???????????????????????????
anyway about this memo yeah it's pretty damn infuriating. Why didnt/dont they just hire??????? I mean I know pinnacle is cheap as hell but it's costing them more with all these cancellations is it not?
I was referring to MH. Sorry to hear he is at Colgan. He once made the argument that pilots should have to work five days a week, because he had to. That guy couldn't buy a clue. He is the bond villain, Dookie Finger, everything he touches turns to...

If that's the reason then you guys must not have many working APUs left in the fleet.

SL, aka the Santi-Christ, is truly the most EVIL, MORALLY BANKRUPT, and TRULY STUPID individual I have ever met in my four decades on Earth.

This man appeared at Airlink as part of a FSI "zero to hero" trial program with a little over 300 hours. He has *NO* real-world pilot experience.

His wife cleaned him out in the 90's when he was caught diddling the help. Left him with nothing but the clothes on his back and that stupid pickup.

Fired as Chief Pilot for taking too much joy in firing pilots and discussing the details publicly (costing Airlink $$$ in settlements)

Fired as head of the CEC for selling pre-paid sim time to CMR for pennies on the dollar in 2001 and then causing a massive training logjam.

Removed from check and training duties because, well, we all know why.

Salvaged from obscurity as a paper-legal Part 119 Chief Pilot since the person they hired for the position did not have the minimum experience.

Has basically turned to sh!t everything his greasy hands have ever touched. Not loved by PT or the board. Not likely a strong candidate for VP FO.

This is a classic example of the "seagull manager." They fly in from out of nowhere, make a lot of noise, crap on everything, and then fly away.
