I have met these folks going through and not one mention of that. Flame on!

we were in the van the other day with one of the Lynx new hires over there and he said they were making him pay for hotels on ioe. Now he was in a crew base for RAH...so if he was based there he would have to pay for his own hotel or crashpad etc. IOE out of base now that would be a different story if a company didnt provide a hotel. I also highly doubt if he were out of base on a trip that they would say ohh you have to buy your own hotel room while the others go to the normal overnight hotel, i mean that would just be insane. Dont know what he meant by saying the company was making him pay for his hotels on ioe but he did say they were "working" on it to fix it??

Very true. I have seen and can imagine some other rare instances where it may be difficult to get a hotel room but they would never make the person pay for it unless it's in base. On a side note what a class act. Just gets preferentially hired and complains publicly in front of other crews. Sir, why don't you just take your things and hit the road? Generation me, makes me heartsick for America. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending our pay scales. But c'mon, we just brought all these folks on board when we had no obligation to do so and a few choose to do nothing but whine and complain.

RAH does suck...I'll tell you why too. Mainly the "I'm the man" attitude that these guys carry around. "I fly the RJ heavy so I'm a bad *** pilot and better then you" It seeths out of there skin at times. Very annoying to me and at least offensive to the guy sitting to my left who used to flew those routes for 3 times the money. I'm just saying most guys over there need to excersize some more tact.

Are you effing kidding me? How do you get a preferential interview for a job you already have? To actually go thru a interview was retarded. Like one of your pilots said, "it's like interviewing your brother for the job of your brother. It doesn't matter whether he gets the job or not he's still your brother." I know of a few Midwest guys who were able to get thru the interview without telling them off and didn't walk out of the sim. who have hire dates in the early 90's. I know they are complaining constantly so when you see them go right ahead and call them complainers. I'd paid for an airline ticket to go see that. Another thing, no obligation? I think you fell out of the morality tree and didn't so much as ruffle a leaf.

That's almost as annoying as being critiqued by a fool who can't spell and was too busy being perfect to bother with learning grammar.

It would appear to be some of that "Bad ***" spikey-haired-ipod speak...
