Just making a comment from page 1, and was more of an objective statement on my part. To each his own.....however......my point was that if you have failed two check-rides, and only meet the minimums of 1000/100, one maybe should think about gaining more experience before leaping into a higher performance aircraft......but each situation is unique, and up to the hiring panel.

Ahhhh I gotcha...and I concur

What an idea!.......fill your bucket of experience before you empty you bucket of luck.... time building and making mistakes you didn't get a chance to learn from yet in a high performance tprop flying 70 people around! Billy you would make a terrible JetU marketing director :)

Of course ... Colgan will never been good enough ... Pinnacle will never be good enough ... #$%*#* will never be good enough. All the pilots here at Colgan suck at life because they made the worst career decision possible. No one will ever move on because our company is so bad. We only hire the worst pilots we can possible find (sarcasm anyone??). Blah, blah, blah, blah. Just so we're clear, we ALL understand that EVERYONE apparently hates Colgan and Pinnacle. Our payrates are horrible, we don't have a contract, our management sucks ... etc.

We all understand that the ONLY respectable regional airlines out there are those that pilots will STILL CONTINUE to talk **** about regardless of the quality of contract, strength of the pilot force, management purity (oxymoron, I know). It doesn't matter who one works for, it'll never be good enough until one moves onto the major airlines. I have yet to read a thread on here about ANY regional carrier, whether it's classified as a "regional" or "major" by the DOT, that did not have some sort of negative connotation to it. And more of then than not, it's the SAME people on here that post the negative comments

DISCUSS... ;)

Colgan is obviously not looking for competitive times being that they probably couldn't even get applicants with a sign on bonus. I bet you get a call within minutes if you have exactly 1000/100. Like was said before, it should tell you something when we have thousands of pilots still on the street and they are willing to change their lifestyles and go without, before applying with Colgan. Just saying.....

I have 1240/ 206ME. I have them on my airlineapps but haven't heard a peep. Granted I'm not trying that hard to get on with them either.

I can't think of any respectable regional, for that matter, few respectable airlines in general.:D I know I can't afford to work at either company.
