I'd also get some sim time, they'll be flexible on your interview but if you screw up the sim your out, RJ type or not. Good luck, we need you.

Do you think they would hire pilots below the mins for total time (say around 600hrs or so) if they are already typed in the CRJ?

I have several good friends that are Captains and FO's at SkyWest. From what they tell me they are VERY strict on there minimums. I am working toward them now at 800 TT 100 ME.

I'm not sure about what will actually happen, but the email I received from them specifically says group interview. Details have been limited as each time I email them, it’s two days until I get a reply back. I have no details about where the interview is held (other than SLC), what time, travel arrangements, etc.

Is this only on SkyWest, or is ASA also included? I assume not on mainline Delta/United?

The word is no way will they go below 1000/100. Do have actual 121 time in the CRJ, or just the type with no time?

I'm not sure how they're booking travel however If I were to guess I'd say that its on Skywest airplanes only. It could be Delta or United but I'd bet its still a skywest airplane. Slaphappy, if you look at your ticket see if it says "operated by Skywest" then you'll know. Like I said I'm only guessing, it could be mainline. As far as the time goes, its true they won't budge.
Now, about this group interview deal. We are really short right now and need people fast. We have interviews planned thru March so there is a huge push going on to get people in class. If you have a group interview, be it in SLC or anywhere else for that matter expect to be invited for a formal interview in SLC SOON! A buddy of mine did a group interview in LA and the very next day he found himself in SLC for the formal, (he just finished ground school) Obviously they won't hold it against you if can't make it that soon but remember, seniority is everything and you want to get in on the front of this if at all possible. That's not to say that getting in next March would be bad (remember this is a regional and people move on all the time) it just that now is better than later. Good luck all.

Just the type with no 121 time. Around 600TT with 115 multi.

You'll most likely need 1000/100. Mesa would scoop you right up, but I would NOT recomend that...
