This might be good advice. The flow agreement is set and odds are there will be a lot of it.

I thought only current compass guys were grandfathered into the flow-through.

I would have put the "subject to change" verbage in my post BUT the DAL language appears to be solid in regards to the flow. Both sides firmly anchored in their positions.

Not sure of how the agreement was structured. But I think Rick was saying two different things.

1) The flow was protected, meaning that A LOT of guys will probably leave, meaning....

2) CA vacancies will free up at "quick" rate.

Compass flow is intact for all those on property as of the date of sale. All other hired after are not included. The flow down remains in place.....

Yes, but if you get hired now you will probably upgrade, and get senior-in-seat, fast. I can't imagine why any eligible CZ pilot would decline to flow to DL.

Not knowing the original poster's background but guessing its not regional since he was naive enough to ask which one has the quickest upgrade...cps may not be an option, we don't seem to be hiring many cfi types, mostly prior 121/135/corp background.

With this flow down put a new hire on the streets if it happens. and since the flow tru changed are they still doing the interview in Atlanta last I heard Delta was controlling the interview process, so if there is no flow tru why would Delta be doing this and what incentive are there besides to get current would there be to go to Compass.

The interview was designed to closely match the DAL interview. The first few rounds of computer testing were done in ATL, but now CPZ has their own setup in MSP... so everything is done in one day there. Looks like they're going to continue the same hiring process, even though they aren't owned by DAL anymore. No reason not to...

Pt 121. Colgan 650 turbine, Pt 135 Cape Air 1800, TT 2700, 4 Yr Degree. Has anyone heard of walking their resume right into HR?

quickest upgrade would be to get out of aviation, as SkyHigh would say.
