Actually, I think both the girls have over 1000 hours multi.

The October 11th class got seniority numbers, domiciles, and tentative equipment today. They actually needed 4 in IAD, so the youngest guy in the class is going to Dulles. He is hoping for another new hire class after ours! All the furloughed Express Jet folks got seniority above all the new hires off the street, which is how it should have been, and no, I am not one of them. Everybody was told to expect the CRJ 200, although, like anything in the airline business, that could change. We did get to bid for base and equipment today, but it was strongly implied that we were really only bidding for our base.

They have said every day that they need more pilots than the 49 in training right now. They just haven't pulled the trigger on a date, so find an internal rec and get your stuff in! Good Luck!

Yep i had mine walked in too just 3 days ago by a good friend of mine.....my friend said that D.R. thanked him and said something to the likes of how they always like it when one of their pilots walks in resumes......etc etc etc......blah blah blah! Anyways, nothing to do now except wait, hope, pray, wait some more.......and oh yah.......hit the books and start reviewing for the 50 question written! Although i don't like it, i'll gladly take an interview offer with a very short 24 hour notice! Nothing but best wishes and luck guys!.....

Had mine walked in by one of the chief pilots and given to D.R. last week. The stack of "walk ins" was neck deep lol...D.R. was like "oh another walk in huh"?

Rumor has it hiring will continue soon. We are "getting Comairs 900s and Skywest will be taking the 700s. Delta doesn't care for regionals that score last on everything we get scored on."

ASA came on 14th which is above Delta.

Heard from a source above my job title. Take it with a grain of salt!!
