Cool Secptic about geting A320 typerating

Did anyone heard of Aerotraing in Florida? credentials of training. I have over 7000hrs and close to 5000jet and 3000hrs PIC all corporate flying. I was giving departure notice, due to owner selling airplane. Now I want to change my career from corporte to airline. Would A320 typerating open up the window of opportunity with the airline? Money is the decision making, should I or should not. Any advise!!!!!

I'd say go with the 737 type and send your stuff to Southwest.

What are you typed in? Any interest in staying in/getting back in corporate or 135?

That's your choice. The point of my post is that retirement from a regional is an unavoidable reality for many pilots. No need to deride those that end their careers in an RJ. Shake their hand and wish them well, even if you're retiring CFI and your last flight is in a single engine Cessna. There's nothing wrong with it.

Cool re typerating

Yes I am typed in Lear Jet, Hawker400/700/800/800XP and Gulfstream/Galaxy 200. It just that I hear so much about the Airbus Type than Boeing.

Yes I like to stay in aviation if I can help it. I do have past part 135 experience.

If you really want to bang your head for a while, call up the folks at Delta AirElite (or Delta Private Jets or Segrave or Delta Business Jets....whatever it is this week). They like typed and current, but there's quite a few beechjets on the certificate. I think there's a few Hawker 800s too.

Not the place to stay forever, but it's a place until you find something better (which won't be hard).

SkyWest is great. I love them. Especially when the company buys me an AirTran ticket and I get on a SkyWest RJ. That's the best!
