Default 9E/XJ/9L contract Poll

Do you think Pinnacle, Colgan, and Mesaba will have a TA brought to the pilot group before the November 15th deadline?

I think the 90%+ from our own message board speaks volumes. No way, no how is this going to get done on time. This is Pinchanickle mismanglement we are dealing with. They will never give us a decent paying, decent work rule, tight language contract that we deserve without a gun to their tiny little heads. I have full confidence in P.H that he will strive for the tightest language that he can get in the contract, but in the end we are dealing with greedy d-bags from MEM. Simple at Best!!!! Clive may be gone, but his legacy of d-baggery lives on.

Since the company is so gung ho on getting a TP contract, I think it is plausible before the new year.

Yes, I do think it'll get done on the 15th. If not, it will be shortly thereafter.

Chances something gets put out to vote by 11/15, 99% . Chances I vote yes on it, <1% . If it's not an IMPROVEMENT on Mesaba's PRE-concessionary contract... well, HELL NO! I will not aprove an extension of concessions.

If you want to hop off the soapbox and look at the past 6 years of history I think you will find that as we go forward we are all in the same boat and like mindset.

Sorry I have been flying with quite a few guys here lately that have been saying "as long as we keep what we have now" Like this merger is going through a second bankruptcy or something. Most of the first officers here were hired post bankruptcy and don't seem to realize we are actually less than where we were in 2004.

If a vote on the contract is sent out to the pilots will it have to pass each company seperatly or will it be voted on as entire group.

It must pass all 3 MEC's (all voting individually) before going to the entire pilot group (all 3 combined). From there 50%+1 is required. Any MEC can sink a TA, but once it goes to the pilot group it is entirely up to the collective whole of the pilots.
