I finally got a reply from our new chief pilot today saying We are setting classes this week...

Didn't say anything about choice of class.

I emailed the new chief november 23rd and still have not recieved a reply. I dont even know if he received the info that I wanted to be recalled, crazy.

You gotta call man, he needs to hear your voice...and it always helps put a voice/face to the name since I'm ALMOST positive you didnt have to see him while you were in initial.

Kinda like a "Hey brah....I'm first officer Brock Kickass....remember my voice for later bro!" or something like that.

I got this email from the new CP a week ago...

One of the guys in my class just got his letter yesterday..

No, I think they officially put out a bid for 8 upgrades. I'm guessing this is the first round. Since I'm trying to stay positive, I'm guessing that they just can't pull 16 or 22 (whichever the correct # of upgrades is) right away into one class since they don't have enough FOs to replace them. Lets hope to hear something Monday.

Yeah, the 8 is what came of the "16" they announced. Two a week each week in Jan. No official word on when/if there will be any more...
