So they cover all the systems in 3 days, then you practice flows and then do the sim and then you do both the oral and checkride at the end? Do we have to worry about systems written or is it just an oral?

If it's the same as recurrent then you have both a systems written and some systems questions on your oral.

He left here to teach people Lear stuff with Flight Safety. Think he ended up in Wichita. Fact of the matter is he is one hell of a teacher.

Pardon my ignorance, but is the recurrent oral same as the initial? Does it include SOP, GOM, walk-around, systems, mem items, limitations, weight and balance...?

Who is the tall guy with glasses? Hoffman?

I think your thinking of Dan Carey, and yea he was more than rough. Anyone know if he is still around?

I had carey for my initial oral. Best oral I ever had. Straightforward and no bs. Not the friendliest guy ive met but I went in scared to death...left a lil sweaty but at ease. Ill take him again anyday. I loved how huff referred to everybody as dude when he came back to the line after forgettin all our names. Huff was awesome

I wouldn't say he's not friendly, but he's just one of those guys. Pretty scary mostly by reputation but at least he's straightforward in person.

Yes its basically the same oral. They may go a little more in depth on a few things every once in a while. I haven't heard what the hot topics are right now though.

Funny thing is when I was a new hire he used his lunch banana. So hed get ****ed when someone missed it and it dropped hard haha. When I was downgraded he managed to get his hands on a plastic banana leaving his lunch in a much safer place.
