Does anyone have experience with polarized sunglasses in the cockpit? I have heard that since some of the instrument faces are polarized, pilots should avoid polarized sunglasses. Is there any truth to this? Up until now, I have avoided polarized sunglasses, but it seems that more and more sunglasses are becoming polarized lately. If anyone has any input for or against polarized glasses, I would love to hear about them. I fly in an Embraer jet if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance.

wow, thank you all very much for the quick responses. I guess I will have to try them to find out if they will be work for me, but since freezing boy flies the same jets and has no problem, i feel better about trying the polarized ones. I've always loved the Revo brand, although they are very pricey, but it seems they only make the polarized kind now. Any suggestions on good non-polarized sunglasses?

), and never had a problem in the cockpit until I started the EMB170. After my first trip I bought non-polarized.
