Default crashpad to the airport

How does a pilot get from the crashpad to the airport. Do I need a car or is there other forms of transportation?

Get a crashpad near a hotel and ride the hotel shuttle. I'm serious.

That is a very open ended question. It's like asking how do you drive a car?

Where is your crashpad? What city? Is there public transportation? Some crashpads are near bus stops, others (like in Chicago/Atlanta) are near a train station and you can take the train right to the airport. Others are in places like Dayton, OH where there is almost no public transport and you need a crashpad car. (whoever is in the crashpad will come get you, and you do the same for them).

If you are young and single, you should consider moving to your base, it makes the job a completely different one.
