Rep/Shuttle/CHQ crew bases.

What are the new crews getting,I understand NO Republic hiring for the future and most are going to Shuttle and CHQ, if this is true, what are the easisest bases to get and commute from, is the CLE and GRR bases still open and are they junior.

CHQ - probably hired into MKE and GRR. Although, we had a vacancy for CHQ CA and the back filling may be needed company wide.

S5 - LGA will probably be the base that new hires go to.

MKE is mostly likely on CHQ. Maybe a small few to GRR and ORD. CLE is going to shrink this year.

Don't come work here. What was once a great company with happy pilots has turned into a turd. I feel like I'm back at Mesa when I go to work. Management is screwing us, people hate their jobs, the company's ability to remain in business for long is seriously in doubt. People are leaving in droves... That should tell you all you need to know.

No matter how many times this call and response plays its self out, it makes me chuckle (with a pained look on my face).

"this company sucks, bites, underpays, ect."

"then quit so I can take that job and complain about it a years time"

Does anybody else think that some "pilots" on this forum are actually management plants who are spying, and spinning information?

Seattle pilot, please excuse those who want a little more than to get paid in sunsets, and shiny jets. We all worked extremely hard to become professionals. Your attitude and remarks are an attempt to marginalize a legitimate concern for our industry. Are you a pilot? Do you have family obligations?

You guys will live longer if you think about things not related to work.

Seriously, when I see bitter pilots walking around with a scowl I can't help but shake my head. Think about the over night, think about the hot F/A in the back who has a crush on you, think about what you're going to do when you get back home, think about the new iPad coming out on the 11th, think about the Chicago Bears first season opener, think about drinking an ice cold PBR, think about how much Tool and Tool fans suck, think about things other than work and you'll feel so much better.

Seriously people...

Also, work on your damn uniform and body image.

Washout, I am a RAH pilot.. I almost lost my house during the 18 month furlough.. i hate people getting into this industry for wrong reasons like sjs. on the other hand, i am standing by the initial statement i made.. the person has no reason to say 'don't come here' like he did.. there are CFIs that try to get out of the endless touch and gos, there are former pilots that lost their jobs that need to get a paycheck to stay afloat.. RAH may not be the best regional in the wold ( I love it when people compare regionals to regionals)
but it certainly is not the worst one to work for..
Until i find a better gig, i will try to show up on time, be safe as i can and collect my paycheck...
The attitude is everything in this life.. have a positive one.
