Obviously inadequate. Everyone has an excuse.....

That 35-70% failure rate is absolutely ludicrous for many, many reasons! The bean counters
would be having an absolute fit over wasting all that money and proceed to fire the people doing all the recruiting and hiring. That kind of a washout rate would most certainly catch the eye of the Feds and they would be wondering what kind of a jacked up operation they are running.

I came through there in a sept class of 2010. And my class and two classes ahead of me and two behind me i stayed in touch with all the time. And all 5 classes I am
Mentioning had I believe 5 failures all together combined.

In my opinion the 70 % failure rate is BS. However doesn't excuse the fact that you néed to do your part and study your tail off. Those who have a great attitude and want it will do just fine. Those who are sloppy and careless wont.

It is totally fair training and they are great about working with those that are a little behind. Just show them you want it and they will get you the right people to help you out

1st day of class today (3/14). Everyone got either DTW or JFK. Before we filled out our bid sheet she said she had 9 openings for JFK left and could take all she could get for DTW. I think that most of us (14 I think) are staying at the old Holiday Inn Select. We are the first class that will be going to the Mesaba HQ in MSP for 2 weeks of systems training and then back to MEM to finish up. 2 weeks MEM, 2 weeks MSP, and back to MEM to finish up. The schedule didn't say what was next but I'm assuming the CPT's and Sims.

Off reserve ! Hala !! ;)

I got JFK. How long have you been on and anticpiate to be on reserve? I've been told 6 mos by a couple of folks for either JFK or DTW. I live in ATL so that's where I want to end up.

If hiring goes the way they are... I would guess quicker, like a couple of months.
