Performance has been in the gutter and rumor is swirling around that Delta will use it as an excuse to cancel the contract a la Mesa....

Right, and they'll put the CRJ200 on mainline certificate and pay DAL pilots $80+/hr to fly the same routes...

Can't really compare ASA to Mesa. Correct me if I'm wrong but Mesa really didn't have much lift for Delta. ASA is the biggest DCI carrier for Delta and I have a feeling they know it. Sure they will cut some flying here and there but I don't thing you will see the two in court any time soon. Sort of a symbiotic but toxic relationship if you know what I mean. |
