Can every one please post:
Hours granted every month....?
Amount of days on and amount of days off.....?
How long it takes on average for someone to upgrade.....?
What is the working environment like....?
Lastly, what is start off and how long on average does it take to move up the pay scale?
All these questions for the pilots out there, airline, cargo,…
Thanks!

Have you looked at the other part of this site (www.airlinepilotcentral.com) at all?!?! If you had you would see guaranteed pay time, days off, average upgrade time and the pay scale for virtually every operation (cargo, LCC, major, regional, 135, fractional, etc) of any size out there! The only thing that won't answer is what the working environment/QOL is like. But that is such a moving target and means so many different things to different people that its hard to nail down a straight answer.

Generally speaking, companies like AWAC, ExpressJet, Skywest, Horizon have the better contracts, more respect between labor and management (meaning they treat you like a human being and a professional, not a commodity like fuel or catering) and larger, well run operations. At the other end of the spectrum you have companies like Mesa, Trans States, and Colgan who have reputations for abusing their employees and generally making life miserable. That being said, there are folks who get on with Horizon or Skywest and hate life and those who get on with Mesa or TSA and love it. Its all relative and something you have to make your mind up about for yourself.

Its not actually on the forum, www.airlinepilotcentral.com is the parent site of the forum. Incredible wealth of information there, updated regulary, very accurate. I have pointed out to the administrator that is difficult to see how the 2 are linked if you have only ever visited the forums but there is a link at the bottom, right side of the forum pages. Difficult to see but its there. Should answer most, if not all of your questions.

Mesa and Wisky as vastly different. The common thread with the 3rd tier was they were primarily T-Prop drivers and had different business models than Chq/Mesa/Wisky.

Like I said, one can compare the companies within their respective tier.

Make your own assesment.

Finally, MESA doesnot belong with GOJETS because Mesa pilots seem honorable and are fighting for a contract. The scabs at GOJETS have no honor and can not blame managment..only themselves.

That is not entirely true. Gojets is actually negotiating their first contract as we speak for better pay and benefits. Negotiations should be done by the end of this year.

Heard that story last year...and we're still waiting. Often heard the current working agreement is based on Horizon, but the one guy I know there told me that was a "laughable" assertion.

If TSA's contract negotiations are the benchmark for GoJet (and there's no reason whatsoever to think they aren't), don't expect any stellar improvements - its still Hulas you are working for.

If by "this year" you mean "this decade" you may be on to something. Do you really think that management isn't going to drag out those current POS working conditions and pay as long as they can? Hell, it took 5 years to negotiate Horizon's first Teamster's contract. And that was done in good times. I think you are dreaming.
