The response was we don't get moving days and upon completion of our checkride, as far as the company is concerned we "live" in our base. No idea when we were supposed to move there though. I didn't bother looking it up in the contract because I was too concerned with looking up language regarding the per diem we hadn't been paid yet.

Our class got 5 moving days. I got mine after IOE.

When we were in class, 2/28, we were considered MEM based. We got round the clock per diem and 5 moving days.

That was with the old contract though, correct?

Nope we were under the new contract. The old contact had us being paid 400 a week, that's it. We got guarantee plus per diem.

Really? We just started training june 6 and when someone asked we were told no per diem until after we start IOE, if the current contract says we are supposed to get per diem where can we go for help? Union reps at XJ told our class what I said above.

All new hires are paid guarantee from Day 1 of training. Your per diem will start (or should start) the day you begin OE. If you get it earlier, more power to you :)

Moving days ... well I'm just the pay guy. I'd have to look that one up... ;)

Welcome to Pinnacolaba guys/gals!

New Hire and Per Diem are never mentioned in the same paragraph in the whole contract... from what I see new hires are supposed to have round the clock per diem for all of training because pay-wise I don't see anything in the contract that seperates it from any other training event in terms of per diem...
