Skywest Transition/upgrade
Can bro captains transition directly into the jet as captain?
I have been hearing 4-5 years for captain on the bro and 5-6 years for captain on the jet, so if a bro captain upgraded after 5 years, and was captain for 3 years after, could he then bid for a captain position on the jet, and would a 3 year bro caption upgrading to the jet, start at 3rd year jet captain pay?

It is not "bro". There is not an "o" in "Brasilia". Please call it what it supposed to be called....weedwacker, turbo taco, mexican king air, whatever, anything but "bro". Whoever came up with that name should be shot.
Yes you can transition to the RJ and you remain at the pay scale of whatever years of service you have.

It's not like mesa and some other other airlines, after your seatlock is up (1 year) you can bid any position your seniority can hold, including going backwards if you wanted to.

Oh, but it IS the "Bro"... Because that's what we all call it. It's all a matter of perspective.
