The best regional is the one that u don't have to commute for. That's all there is to see here.

After being around this forum for a long time and watching the cycles of worst becoming best and best becoming worst it makes you wonder who is at the top now. I remember when you were said to be a scumbag bottom feeder if you worked at Colgan and now it is some other regional on the bottom. Wondering if now that AE has a flow thru if they are the go to airline now.

You're basically asking which contestant on The Biggest Loser is prettier.

HOU is not a base for eagle, DFW. Some people just doing sim training down there.

Flying for AA wont be farmed out for a few years, and thats if they dont change their minds on the whole thing which happens a lot.

Not sure if that that was tounge in cheek...but for those who don't know any better lets not simplify things that much.

There are MANY factors that go into choosing where to work.. Commute is just one of those factors.

I have buddies who live and are based in CLE working for a "commuter" airline who are going nuts trying to leave because they hate it so much. I have similar stories from guys who lived and were based in MEM while working for another airline.

So simply choosing whatever company has a base where you want tonlive and disregarding the rest is not a smart move. I just want those folks out there who are considering their next move to understand that.

With all that said, yes... Life is much better when you don't have to commute.

There won't be any changing of AMR's mind on this one. As to how fast Eagle in minced, that remains to be seen. At least some of the fleet could get whacked surprisingly fast, especially the ATR's and E-135's.
