From what I understand, the orders for 2013 are firm and will be with CAL/United. The others are options and there has been no credible news regarding these, interestingly quiet actually. It has been assumed management is waiting for United and Continental to figure out regional scope before the options are converted to orders...

I must be lost. I thought I was fairly in the "know" regarding the Q400 options etc but somethings not right.

It is and has been my understanding that we already took the last of our firm deliveries. CAL has first right of refusal on 15 and Pinnacle has the next 15 options to shop around. As far as I know we have NO firm orders on ANY Q400's...not even one.

True. Actually, the company is planning on selling the options, take the money, and buy a dozen 10 Series DC-9s.

True. People shouldn't post anything about us getting more q's without a link to a press release. Pics or it didn't happen.

PNCL is publicly traded. You can't simply "hear" you are getting new planes. There would be a press release or it would come out in the companies financial statements. Although it would be great to get more, PNCL is having a hard enough time operating the planes we have.

Hahaha i wish everyone had a sense of humor, but then again these forums wouldnt be half as much fun. Its gonn be interesting to see how this bid works out. But you couldnt pay me to go to a jet and have to commute! I'm fine with my Saab left seat as long as they are still on property.
