What happened the first time around? What is your background?

Don't do what you did the first time around.

Suggestion: Assless chaps.

Just kidding! Hopefully someone successful on try #2 will jump in with some advice. If the subject of interview #1 comes up during #2, be honest. I would not bring it up myself, but if the interviewers do, face it squarely.

Be prepared to discuss why you feel that you are an even better candidate this time. They may ask you what you might have done differently in interview number one. Unless you are aware of something obvious or can use this opening to inject mild humor into the process, I would focus on describing the strengths you feel that you possess that perhaps did not come across well in interview one. You want them to grasp that you consider the first interview a positive experience even though you were not hired. You also want to emphasize that you like their company enough to keep trying.

Best of Luck!

Go in there loaded for bear. Be honest and have a good story on why you are the one they want to hire.

...Also;

If you feel that the technical portion, the "sim" flight might have tripped you up, be sure and polish up your skills. Be really proficient when you interview. If you can get to So. California, there is an instructor specializing in SKW interview prep. PM me if you would like further info.

Attitude, attitude, attitude...They would rather hire a great employee and an OK pilot, than an OK employee and a great pilot. Keep a positive attitude! Good luck!
