What does the Q burn per hour TOTAL (NOT PER ENGINE) in cruise flight?

It also doesn't have a history of putting holes in the Buffalo suburbs from poor hiring and training. So get off your horse and stop posting on here that your going to take over everyone's flying.

FYI this is at luv not the guy I quoted.
And how much is the burn in the 20+ min climb up to cruise? I don't think you can claim that the 145 burns the same as the Q in the 300-350nm radius market.

I think that market is going to cars. It is not 2000-2007. The ERJ on the 300 mile flight goes to 19k, and takes 8 minutes to get there. It burns about 3000/pbs hr in cruise at 19k. Gets there in 35 min. Burns like 2300 pds total.

Agreed. It was low-rent and had nothing to do with the discussion. The buffalo accident could have occured in any type of aircraft including a ERJ.

Define WAY faster?

I have heard the ERJ is often weight restricted, how about the Q?

depends which, if they have the heavy weight mod then no they rarely are.

Well can the Q go from EWR to BOS at FL190 at 320 KTs indicated, get to cruise in 10 min, and offer the joy of a jet.

I think you are wrong about that market going to cars. Maybe trains if they ever get a good rail system.

Not sure if I'm tired, but how did you get 8 minutes to fly 300 miles?

8 minutes at climb thrust TO GET TO FL190, its about 39min total flight time to the destination. That burns maybe 3500 pds hr, then at that point we cruise along at 2900/lb hour and 320 kts.
