Regional upgrade time, take 2

This started out as "Time to Upgrade at Regionals". Guys, I like humor as much as the next person, but like most of the Regional threads they should be re-named " Guys not old enough to shave, balls haven't dropped yet, and still masturbating to the J.C. Penny's catalogue". Even better why not just start a thread with that name.

Ok, reality time. When I was hired 5 years ago, upgrade was 2.5 years and getting lower. In comes Age 65 rule and a recession... 5 years later I'm still a long way from upgrade. ASa is losing air frames, screwing the pooch on their statistics (on-time departures/arrivals, completion factor, customer service, etc...) and ****ing off their mainline partners not to mention the internal troubles with the on-going contract negotiations in combination with the XJT/EV merger. It's honestly the perfect storm and if I see an upgrade within the next three years, I'll be pretty flabbergasted. Personally hoping and praying I find better work before that happens.
Airline benefits? We have privileges on DAL and UAL which makes traveling by one's self easier but taking your family along? forget it, there are never seats open, even the off-season is rough. Medical/Dental? mediocre at best, I believe you are fully vested in the 401k at 7 years? someone check my work on that one. If you live in base, it could be a half-way decent place to put your time in (NOT atl... that's gonna be a disaster of a base)
