WeatherBug (so I can see why we are delayed going to LGA)
Aviaiton Tools(Donate) ((<--that's the free version))
Southwest (so I can plan my escape)
Wimp.com (so I can watch cool videos whilst being delayed)
Airline Pilot Forums (of course, self-explanatory)
YouTube (freddiew, jebcorliss, nicepeter, fpsrussia, etc.)
Flashlight ("Where the hell is the light switch?")
A lot of the above, plus: Rainy Days (A free app looping wx radar laid over google maps). It takes your current location and puts a big dot on it. Great for those times when you're ground stopped and want to figure out WTH is going on.
Does logbook pro charge a monthly fee to keep your phone synched with your PC?
For Android I like "Aviation Weather with Decoder." Thats how its labeled in the market. It is a nice tool for metars, tafs, and decoded notams. And it's free.
Foreflight Foreflight Foreflight... Completely invaluable and all-encompassing tool. WX, moving map GPS, LEGAL vfr and ifr charts AND approach plates, flight planning and tons more.
IATA/ICAO Dictionary a geart data base that works while at FL320 to find out the name of that VOR, Airport...Plus runway info. And lots more while you have a 3G 4G wifi connection while on the ground. I use this app 3out of the 5 legs I fly.
